Traffic accident on Interstate 15 near Highway 56 in San Diego injured at least one person

As cited in a California Highway Patrol report, on January 31st at 2:34 p.m. a car accident took place on the 15 Freeway near the 56 Highway in San Diego, that left at least one person injured.

According to CHP officials, a grey Toyota sedan blew out it’s left rear tire causing it to spin out sending down the right hand side embankment.  A tow truck using a cable was required to extract the vehicle from the embankment.

Officials requested for an ambulance on scene due to injuries sustained by the victim of the car wreck.  The injured victim was taken to a local hospital but there is no word on the victims condition yet.

This incident is currently under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
