At least one person injured in traffic accident on the 80 Freeway in Berkeley
According to a California Highway Patrol, on Friday, March 16th 2018, at about 12:07 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 80 in the city of Berkeley.
Furthermore, authorities did not give a full description of the vehicles, but mentioned that at least three vehicles were involved in the collision that resulted in injuries on I-80. The accident caused on the of the vehicles to spin around and end up facing the wrong-way, as stated by CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.
Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
