Traffic accident on State Route 118 near Erringer Rd in Simi Valley results in major injuries

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on January 31st at around 4:06 p.m. a car collision took place on the Ronald Reagan Freeway near Erringer Rd in Simi Valley and it caused major injuries to at least one person.

The police report mentions that it was a three vehicle wreck, which included a black Honda Accord, a blue sedan and a white sedan.  The vehicles were traveling eastbound on Freeway 118 before colliding with each other, said officials.  One of the vehicles was reported to be a hazard to traffic and glass debris was all over the freeway lanes.

Moreover, the black Honda appeared to have major rear end damage.  At least one victim was taken to a local hospital but the severity of the injury and condition of the injured party is unknown.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once authorities have concluded the investigation.
