At least one person injured in traffic collision on the 605 Freeway south of Florence Ave in Downey
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, March 20th 2018, at about 2:40 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 605, just south of Florence Avenue in the city of Downey.
Furthermore, authorities did not give a full description of the vehicles involved but did mention that a Nissan Maxima was driving recklessly prior to the collision. The Maxima cut off a Ford Ranger which led to an accident which also involved another 2 vehicles, as stated by officials.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.
Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
