At least one person injured in vehicle collision on the 580 Freeway west of Hacienda Dr in Pleasanton
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, Monday April 9th 2018, at least one person was injured as a result of a vehicle collision that took place on Interstate 580, just west of Hacienda Drive in the city of Pleasanton.
Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a black Honda Civic was traveling westbound on I-580 when the lost control and ran into the center divider. The collision caused major front and rear end damage to the Honda.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics . Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause of the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
