Two cars were involved in a traffic accident in San Diego near Mesa College

A Cadillac Eldorado and a Range Rover were reportedly involved in a car collision on Cabrillo Freeway in San Diego near Mesa College Drive and Kearny Villa Road at approximately 2:36 PM on Monday, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

The two cars posed a traffic hazard after colliding into each other and coming to a rest in the second and third lanes of the freeway. According to the report, both drivers remained in their respective vehicles and waited for a tow truck to arrive.

At the time of the report, at least one injury was reported, although the identities of the drivers were not released. In addition, it is unknown whether or not the vehicles had any additional passengers.

The crash is currently under investigation and complete details are not known yet. Any further information will be released as it becomes available to the public.
