67-year-old Bernadino Delariva died while bicycling after being struck by a garbage truck on the intersection of Floral Ave and South Highland Ave in Selma

According to an article from the Fresno Bee, on February 2nd 2018, at about 2:56 p.m. 67-year-old Bernadino Delariva died from injuries sustained by colliding with a garbage truck on the intersection of South Highland Avenue and Floral Avenue  in the city of Selma.

As mentioned by the Fresno Bee, Delariva was leaving riding his bike just after noon on the sidewalk before crossing on to the intersection.  A garbage truck was making a right turn onto Highland Ave on a green light before colliding with Delariva, said officials.

Furthermore, after colliding with the garbage truck Bernadino Delariva died on scene from injuries sustained from the collision.

Currently, this crash remains under review further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
