Paramedic treated at least three people in a vehicle collision in Chula Vista
According to a news report from the San Diego Union Tribune, a crash occurred Friday, March 30th 2018, at about 6:15 p.m., on the intersection of 5th Avenue and G Street in Chula Vista.
In addition, the report stated that a 22-year-old male driver was driving a black BMW that was traveling southbound on 5th Avenue and ran a red light at G Street striking a red Honda Civic on the passenger side. Moreover, a 36-year-old female driver and her 3-year-old daughter were in the Honda, as stated by the article.
Furthermore, victims were transported to UC San Diego Medical Center by paramedics. The woman in the Honda sustained a broken rib and bruises to her chest and neck, her daughter was secured in her car seat and injuries were unclear, whereas the male driver in the BMW sustained a possible broken right wrist and was arrested for felony driving under the influence, as stated in the article.
