Two-car accident ensuing a car race on I-10 East

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, April 13th 2018, at about 10:31 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving two vehicles on the eastbound of Interstate 10 and Overland Avenue in the city of Los Angeles.

In addition, the report stated that a red sedan and a white sedan were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, authorities report that the red sedan was racing with a black Dodge Charger as he/she lost control of the vehicle, hit the center divider wall, hit the white sedan and arrived to a stop facing the wrong way of travel. 

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by officials.

Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Moreover, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
