Traffic accident injured at least one person on Highway 87 south of Almaden Expy in San Jose

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Saturday, March 10th 2018, at about 10:19 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on State Route 87, just south of Almaden Expressway in the city of San Jose.

Furthermore, authorities mentioned in the report that a Toyota Prius and another sedan were the vehicles involved in the collision that resulted in injuries on SR-87.  The accident cause one of the vehicles to end up facing the wrong-way and the other was up against a guardrail, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any information of the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
