Car accident injured at least one person on the 280 Freeway near Geneva Ave in San Francisco

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, March 12th 2018, at 6:12 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 280 at the Geneva Avenue on-ramp in the city of San Francisco.

Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a gold Toyota Camry and Honda Pilot were traveling southbound on I-280 just before the collision occurred.  The accident caused fire to one of the vehicles engines, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision.  Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
