Traffic accident left at least one person injured on State Route 101 near Millbrae Ave in Millbrae

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, March 1st 2018, at about 2:08 p.m. at least one person was injured ensuing a car collision that occurred on Highway 101 at the Millbrae Avenue off-ramp in the city of Millbrae.

Additionally, authorities mentioned that a black Jeep Cherokee and a red small sedan were the vehicles involved in the accident that resulted in injuries.  The Ford Explorer spun out cutting across lanes and hitting the red sedan, which hit a power pole, as cited by CHP.

Furthermore, a male was seen bleeding but refused to be taken to a hospital, however it is unclear if there were any other injuries.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
