A traffic collision involving a big rig leaves at least one injury on the 805 freeway at Interstate 8 in the city of San Diego

According to a local news article by the San Diego Patch, an accident involving a big-rig that resulted in at least one person injured on the southbound Interstate 805 at Interstate 8 prompted a Sig-alert in San Diego.

Furthermore, the traffic collision occurred around 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday morning, May 1st 2018, on the southbound I-805 near I-8, as reported in a California Highway Patrol police report.  The Sig-alert was issued at 11:18 a.m. and caused two southbound lanes to be closed.  Authorities did not give a description of the vehicles but did mention that a big rig was involved.  No further information has been released on the victims of this traffic accident.
