Three-car collision injures at least one person in LA
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, May 3rd 2018, at about 8:06 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the southbound of U.S. Highway 101 and N Western Avenue in the city of Los Angeles.
In addition, the report stated that a white Mustang GT, a red Nissan Versa and a black sedan not described by authorities were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, smoke was coming out of the Mustang and its airbags was deployed following the traffic collision, as stated by officials.
The HOV and No. 1 lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Additionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
