Car crash left at least one person injured on State Route 101 near Rowland Blvd in Novato

According to a California Highway Patrol report, on Friday, February 16th 2018, at 6:18 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a car collision that took place on the the 101 Highway just south of Rowland Boulevard in the city of Novato.

Moreover, officials report that a red truck flipped over from the southbound side of the freeway to the northbound side.  Another vehicle involved in the accident was blocking a lane on the southbound side of the 101 Freeway.

In addition, at least one person was transported to a local hospital to treat the injuries sustained by the collision, however officials have no word on the condition of the injured party.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident, and further details will be released at later time once the investigation has concluded.
