Vehicle collision left at least one person injured on Highway 118 near Balboa Blvd in Granada Hills

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, March 2nd 2018, at 5:00 a.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that occurred on State Route 118, just east of Balboa Boulevard in the city of Granada Hills.

Furthermore, authorities report that a dark small sedan and a motorcycle were the vehicles involved in the collision that resulted in injuries.  The sedan did run into the center divider wall after hitting the motorcyclist and knocking the rider down, as mentioned in by officials.

In addition, at least one person was transported to a local hospital by paramedics, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party.

Currently, this incident is being reviewed by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision.  Further details will be available at a later time once the authorities have ended their investigation.
