Vehicle collision injured least one person on the 405 Freeway north of Rosecrans Ave in Hawthorne

According to a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Monday, March 12th 2018, at 3:56 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 405, just north of Rosecrans Avenue in the city of Hawthorne.

Furthermore, authorities report that a motorcycle, a silver Toyota Rav4, and a BMW, were the vehicles involved in the collision that resulted in injuries on I-405.  The motorcyclist was seen walking around when officials arrived, although his motorcycle was left disabled, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
