Injuries ensue traffic collision on the 210 Freeway west of Sierra Madre Villa Ave in Pasadena

As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Friday, March 16th 2018, at 11:19 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 210, just west of Sierra Madre Villa Avenue in the city of Pasadena.

Furthermore, authorities reported that a big rig, a grey sedan and another vehicle were traveling westbound on I-210 when the accident occurred.  The big rig was carrying a 50,000 lbs load at the time of the collision, according to CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victims at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
