One person injured in traffic collision on the Redwood Highway just south of Highway 175 in Hopland

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Januarty 31st at 5:54 p.m. a car accident involving at least 3 vehicles on Highway 101 just south of River Road in the city of Hopland led to at least one person being injured.

Furthermore, a driver in a white sedan, who was involved in the accident, appeared to be injured.  The victim was taken to a local hospital, although no details on the severity of the injury have been reported.

Authorities also reported that two cars, one black sedan and a white vehicle were in the right shoulder of the 101 Freeway just south of the 175 Highway in Hopland.  Officials requested a tow for the vehicles involved in the wreck, a Hyundai Accent with damage on its front end and a Chevy Malibu with major damage in the rear end.  Further information will be released at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
