Multi-vehicle collision on the westbound 91 Freeway just east of the Interstate 605 leaves at least one injured
According to California Highway Patrol police report, on Sunday, April 1st 2018, at about 4:40 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a multi-vehicle traffic collision involving three to four vehicles on the westbound SR-91 freeway just before the I-605 freeway in Cerritos area.
Police report stated that the vehicles involved were a Grey Saturn and multiple other vehicles. The resulting crash left the left-most lane of the freeway blocked as authorities worked to clear the scene of the accident.
In accordance with the CHP report, there was at least one injury as a result of the collision and paramedics were called and arrived shortly after the incident to transport the injured parties to a medical facility nearby. In addition, according to officials, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet. It is unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause of the accident.
