Traffic accident injured at least 1 person the 8 Freeway west of El Cajon Blvd in La Mesa
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, April 23rd 2018, at about 6:06 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a motorcycle accident that took place on Interstate 8, just west of El Cajon Boulevard in the city of La Mesa.
Moreover, officials reported that a grey Toyota Tacoma and a motorcyclist were traveling eastbound on I-8 when the collision occurred. The accident sent debris flying all over the interstate’s roadway, as stated by CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.
