Traffic accident resulted in injuries on State Route 91 west of Bloomfield Ave in Cerritos
As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Sunday, March 11th 2018, at about 11:44 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a car accident that took place on Highway 91, just west of Bloomfield Avenue in the city of Cerritos.
Furthermore, officials reported that a Mercedes-Benz, a Hyundai Elantra and another vehicle that was not described, were the vehicles involved in the collision that resulted in injuries. One of the vehicles involved in the accident was going approximately 90 mph before the collision occurred, as cited by CHP.
In addition, at least one person was injured and transported to a near by hospital, however officials have not released any information on the condition of the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
