Traffic collision resulted in Injuries on Highway 14 near Interstate 5 in Santa Clarita

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Sunday, March 4th 2018, at about 8:43 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a car accident that took place on State Route 14, just north of Interstate 5 in they city of Santa Clarita.

Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a silver Toyota Corolla and a red Toyota Prius that was pulling a motorhome trailer were traveling southbound on Highway 14.  The trailer the Prius was pulling overturned and was blocking the middle lane of the highway and one of the vehicles also ended up facing wrong-way, said officials.

In addition, at least one person was transported to a local hospital by paramedics, however authorities have no word on the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
