Vehicle collision resulted in injuries on Highway 14 south of Ward Rd in Newhall
As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, April 3rd 2018, at about 4:06 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on State Route 14, just south of Ward Road in the city of Newhall.
Furthermore, authorities reported that a white Toyota Prius and a Dodge Ram were traveling northbound on SR-14 when the collision occurred. The accident caused front-end damage to the Ram and major rear-end damage to the Prius, according to CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was injured transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
