Two car collision resulted in injuries in West Covina

According to a California Highway Patrol police incident log, on Monday, April 9th 2018, at about 7:56 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving two vehicles on Barrydale Street and North Orange Avenue in the city of West Covina.

In addition, the report stated that a red Hyundai Elantra and a white Toyota Echo were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, the front axle of the Hyundai was broken and could be the probable cause of the accident, as stated by officials.

Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the collision, as stated by the police report.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
