Car accident results in at least 1 person hospitalized on Interstate 680 north of Mission Blvd off-ramp in Freemont

According to a California Highway Patrol police report a traffic collision took place on January 29 at on the 680 Freeway in the city of Freemont among a big rig and a silver Toyota Prius. At least one person was injured as a result of the traffic collision and an ambulance was called to the scene.

As reported by CHP, the car accident happened in the right lanes of Interstate 680 just north of Mission Blvd at 10:19 a.m.  An ambulance was called to the scene of the crash along with a tow truck.  After being stuck in traffic a tow truck from Jack James Tow arrived on scene at 11:19 a.m. as cited in the report.

Moreover, the right two lanes were blocked off to traffic until the investigation and clean up was done.  At least one person was taken to a local hospital, though there is no word on the condition of the injured victim.
