Vehicle collision left at least one person injured on State Route 67 near Wilajobi Way in Lakeside

As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, February 26th 2018, at 11:34 a.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision involving a big rig on Highway 67 near Wilajobi Way in they city of Lakeside.

Moreover, officials report that a silver Mazda sedan and a semi-truck were the vehicles involved in the collision that left at least one person.  The silver Mazda sedan did receive major front end damage as a result of the accident.

In addition, at least one person was sent to a nearby hospital, however the condition of the injured party is unknown at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
