Elderly man crashes after a speeding car cuts in front of him
According to a news report from onscene.tv, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident on Sunday, April 8th 2018, at about 12:00 p.m., on the southbound of Interstate 805 near Bonita Road in the city of Chula Vista.
In addition, the article stated that a speeding car cuts in front of a male elderly driving a grey Lexus, then lost control, hit the center divider, crossed back into the traffic lanes, where he hits a Nissan Rogue, and then hit the right-shoulder wall of the overpass before coming to a complete stop.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident, as stated by the news report.
Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
