Car accident in El Monte injures at least one person
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, April 13th 2018, at about 6:02 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving three vehicles on the westbound of Interstate 10 and Peck Road off-ramp in the city of El Monte.
In addition, the report stated that a Honda Pilot and two additional vehicles not described by officials were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, there was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
