Two vehicle collision on westbound SR-37 Freeway near Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo injures at least one person
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 26th 2018, at about 3:28 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving two vehicles on the westbound lanes of State Route 37 and Fairgrounds Drive in the city of Vallejo.
In addition, the report stated that a silver Honda and a maroon Toyota Corolla were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision.
The slow lane of traffic was blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by officials.
Furthermore, there was at least one person who suffered from minor injuries as a result of the crash and paramedics were called in shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. Additionally, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
