Authorities respond to a four car collision in Bloomington

Multiple traffic lanes were blocked after a four car collision occurred on Jurupa Avenue and Cedar Avenue in Bloomington at about 7:15PM on Wednesday, April 4th 2018, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

Initial reports stated that a black pick-up truck and an unknown sedan collided at approximately 7:15 p.m. whereas a blue Chevron pick-up truck and a silver Toyota Sienna also collided in the middle of the street two minutes later.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.

San Bernardino County Coroner arrived on the scene and at least one person was reported dead, according to the report. In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but the driver from the silver Toyota Sienna requested to be checked due to a chest pain complaint and were later transported to a nearby hospital.

The identity of the persons involved in the accident is currently not known. In addition, it is also unknown if the vehicles involved in the crash had other passengers at the time of the collision.

The investigation into this car crash is still ongoing. Further details will be released as it becomes available to the public.
