Medical crews respond to car crash in Concord

A two car collision occurred on State Route 4 near Port Chicago Highway in Concord at approximately 12:18 PM on Tuesday, according to California Highway Patrol incident log.

A silver Honda CR-V and a green GMC pickup truck were involved in the crash, according to the report. Both vehicles were found on the right shoulder of the highway.

At least one person was injured in the collision, according to authorities. The injured persons received medical attention at the scene of the accident. In addition, they were later transported to the hospital.

The identity of the persons involved in the collision is currently not released. In addition, it is not known whether or not the vehicles involved in the accident had other passengers at the time of the crash.

The investigation into this accident is still ongoing. Further details will be released to the public as it becomes available.
