All but the HOV lane were blocked after a five car collision in Penngrove resulting in at least one injury

A five car collision occurred at approximately 4:52 PM on Monday near the Penngrove off-ramp of the Redwood Highway resulting in at least one injured person, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

A big rig, Toyota Prius, BMW, and two other unidentified vehicles were involved in a crash that blocked all but the HOV lane. According to sources, at least one person was injured in the crash. Several towing cars were called to the site.

Currently, the identities of the persons involved in the crash are unknown. In addition, it is unknown if the vehicles involved in the crash had any other passengers in them.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing. Updated information regarding the traffic accident will be made available as soon as it is released to the public.
