A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Wednesday morning on SR-74

According to a recent article from the Orange County Register, there was a car crash on Wednesday morning in which motorcyclist Alfonso Bianca, Jr. was killed on the Ortega Highway.

Per the article, the fatal motorcycle accident took place just before 7:00 a.m. when the 27-year-old Alfonso Bianca, Jr. collided with another vehicle on Highway 74 near the Robert W. Caspers Wilderness Park.

Authorities arrived and confirmed the rider dead, said Orange County Fire Authority.  A coroner also arrived on scene shortly after, said highway officials.

There were no more immediate details released that indicated whether or not other parties were also injured in the crash.  This incident remains under police investigation to determine the cause of the accident, and further information will be updated at a later time.
