67-year-old man killed and woman severely injured and hospitalized after crash in Cabazon
According to a recent press release, a Palm Springs man identified as Adam Peters, 67, was killed and a second person severely injured on eastbound Interstate 10, east of Cabazon near the Haugen Lehmann Way exit.
The Riverside County Coroner pronounced Adam Peters, 67, dead at the scene at about 4:21 p.m, reported the article.
As mentioned in the article, the crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. and included several vehicles including a big rig semi truck.
According to CAL FIRE/Riverside County and Morongo Fire Department officials, one vehicle with two victims were inside and the surviving victim was transported to a hospital with injuries after the vehicle swerved off the roadway and rolled over.
On Monday, CHP authorities stated that the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Further details will be reported once the investigation has concluded.
