Alex Alexander sustained moderate injuries in fatal accident
According to a recent article, there was a car crash on CA-68 last Tuesday morning near Corral De Tierra Road, leaving one woman dead and one other injured.
As mentioned in the article, the authorities identified the deceased victim as a 64-year-old female, a resident of Salinas.
The woman was driving a green 2002 Honda Civic, reported the news article. The Honda headed westbound on State Route 68 when she suddenly attempted to U-turn into eastbound traffic.
As she made her turn, a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder struck her side, sources said. The impact caused the Nissan to turn over as well.
California Highway Patrol responded to the accident as well as paramedics. The woman was reported deceased at the scene, said officials. The coroner’s office has yet to released the deceased woman’s name, according to the article.
According to the source article, the man driving the Nissan vehicle was identified as Alex Alexander, 33, of Marina.
The man was transported to Natividad Medical Center with moderate injuries, although it was cited that his current condition is unknown.
