Six-vehicle collision causes major injuries at Vanowen Street and Radford Avenue
According to a recent press release from Patch, there was a major traffic collision that occurred on Sunday evening that injured three people at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Radford Avenue in North Hollywood.
Reportedly, the crash occurred at about 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Los Angeles police officers were dispatched to the scene of the accident along with fellow emergency transport personnel. The driver at fault was not at the scene and had fled before authorities could arrive.
As a result, police stated that three people suffered minor injuries. They were transported to a local hospital via ambulance, officials said.
At this time, the names of the victims were not released, and the authorities are currently still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
LAPD Officer Kelly Mayorga of the Valley Traffic Division stated, “Speed and lost control led to the crash. It was a hit-and-run driver that caused the accident.”
Currently, there is no available description of the hit-and-run driver or the vehicle that was liable for the car accident in North Hollywood, sources said.
Further news will be reported as it is determined in the pending investigation.
