A yellow Dodge Charger slams into tree and kills three young men

According to a recent press release from CBS Los Angeles, there was a fatal car accident in which three young victims were killed after their car ran into a tree in a single-vehicle accident in Torrance on Wednesday night.

As mentioned in the article, the three victims were speeding in a southbound lane on Van Ness Avenue at about 12:10 a.m. when the vehicle suddenly lost control at Del Amo Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue, said Torrance police.

The driver, identified only as a 20-year-old from Torrance, and one 18-year-old passenger were reported to have died at the scene of the accident, said police.  Furthermore, another 18-year-old passenger was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance, where he later died to his injuries.

Currently, the victims were not identified pending the notification of family.

The accident is currently under investigation and further details will be reported at a later time.
