Two of three victims ID’ed by Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau

According to a news article from Press-Enterprise, there was a fatal car accident that took place on the 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley last Saturday, leaving three victims dead.

Omar Arambula and Jose Perez were identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau as two of three victims that were killed as a result of this deadly traffic collision.

Currently, the name of the third victim has not been released, pending the notification of next-of-kin.

The accident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday near Country Village Road when the three victims in a 1995 Honda Accord crashed into the center divider on the eastbound 60 Freeway, said California Highway Patrol.  The reason for their collision is still under investigation.

Then, a 2016 Ford Fusion also traveling east struck the Honda Accord, said CHP.  Reportedly, one occupant of the Honda had been ejected over the center divider and struck by westbound traffic.

All three victims died at the scene, said the article.  Additionally, the driver of the Ford also suffered minor injuries to both arms, said authorities.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.

Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
