2 people killed, 2 others injured in 2-vehicle crash

According to recent news, there were two people killed and two others severely injured after a two-vehicle car crash in Littlerock on Monday afternoon.

Per the article, the crash occurred around 2:00 p.m. at the cross streets of 87th Street East and Fort Tejon Road.

According to Los Angeles County fire officials, there was a Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually and a silver 2017 Ford Fiesta involved in the fatal crash.

Ho Chuen Wong, 25, of Sacramento was listed as the driver of the Ford sedan going southbound on 87th Street East at about 75 miles per hour, according to the CHP.  He allegedly failed to stop at the posted stop sign at Fort Tejon Road and consequently was struck by the Chevy Silverado going at about 50 miles per hour.

Furthermore, two backseat occupants inside the sedan died in the accident as a result.  Two other injured parties were also reportedly transported to area hospitals, although their conditions were not immediately described.

The passengers who died were a 62-year-old woman and a 56-year-old woman, both from Hong Kong.  Their names have been withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.

A third passenger in the vehicle was identified as 25-year-old Ho Yuen Wong of Sacramento.  They were reported to have sustained minor injuries and transported to Antelope Valley Hospital along with driver Wong.

The driver and passenger inside the Chevy Silverado were identified as 30-year-old John C. Lennox and 62-year-old Charles M. Lennox, both residents of Pearlblossom.  As mentioned in the report, they both sustained minor injuries in the collision.

Currently, the crash remains under investigation.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation is concluded.
