Bakersfield Motorcycle Rider Killed

Bakersfield Police are still investigating a fatal car accident that killed a motorcyclist on Sunday, January 09, 2016. According to Bakersfield Now, Cody Lyn Williams, 26, was killed 6300 block of District Boulevard near Ashe Road around 8:25 p.m. Officers say a 2015 Kia Soul exited a driveway in the area and struck Williams. That driver pulled over to check on the motorcycle rider, but police say another crossover SUV may have struck Williams after the initial crash. According to police, that vehicle continued without stopping. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
