On Tuesday night, a Bakersfield Police Department patrol car was in involved in a car crash in downtown Bakersfield. According to Bakersfield’s ABC23, the unnamed officer ran a red light at the intersection of 24th and F street and crashed into another car that was going through the intersection on a green light.
Witnesses say that both the police officer and the other driver exited their cars. The extent of their injuries are presently unknown and the investigation is currently ongoing.
