One person confirmed dead at the scene after Anaheim freeway crash

According to an article from MynewsLA.com, there was a fatal car accident that took place on Monday morning on the southbound 5 Freeway in Anaheim near Lincoln Avenue in which one person was killed.

Per the article, the crash was reported just before midnight on Sunday near the Disneyland HOV off-ramp when two vehicles suddenly crashed into the center divider.  The CHP also reported that one of the cars overturned as a result.

Furthermore, there were four other vehicles that were found on the right hand shoulder, said officials.

When authorities arrived, one person was confirmed to be dead at the scene, said CHP.  Although no names were released by the Orange County coroner, it was noted that the deceased victim was male.

As a result, a SigAlert was issued at about 11:30 p.m. for the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the Santa Ana 5 Freeway just south of Lincoln Avenue.  Authorities initiated an investigation into the crash.
