Multiple injuries reported in Pomona traffic accident
According to a recent article from CBS Los Angeles, one person was killed and five others were hospitalized after a major car accident occurred on the eastbound Pomona Freeway at Fairplex Drive.
As reported in the article, the accident occurred just before 5:00 a.m. in the carpool lane on the Interstate 10 Freeway. The accident occurred in the carpool lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one car overturned and another car was facing the wrong way after the crash. A motorcycle was also reportedly involved, said officials.
As a result, paramedics transported at least five injured victims to a local hospital nearby, and one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
