Vehicles caught on fire after the initial collision
According to a recent article from NBC San Diego, there was a major car collision that took place on Lyons Valley Road and Jamul Drive in Jamul, California around 9:15 p.m.
Per the article, a SUV crashed head-on with a pickup truck on Lyons Valley Road and Jamul Drive at about 9:15 p.m.
California Highway Patrol reported that the accident took place in front of St. Pius X Catholic church and that at least four persons were rushed to the hospital as a result of the car accident in Jamul.
Reportedly, both drivers suffered major injury and trauma and the other two passengers in the SUV also suffered minor injuries.
Currently, this car accident is under investigation and further information will be reported at a later time once the investigation is over.
