Woman loses control of car and backs into grandmother in driveway
According to a KTLA article, a 44-year-old grandmother named Norma Revolorio died after a woman backed out of a driveway and hit them in Anaheim on Tuesday afternoon.
Per the article, the accident happened on Nutwood Avenue, between Ball Road and Beacon Street at about 2:00 p.m. when Norma Revolorio was walking on the sidewalk with her two grandchildren.
As mentioned by witnesses, Revolorio became trapped under the car after the vehicle backed out into her. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after, said the article. Revolorio was transported to a nearby hospital in “extremely critical condition,” the article mentions, and she later succumbed to her injuries.
Reported in the article, an injured infant child was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Furthermore, the driver in the vehicle stayed at the scene and was cooperating with police that had arrived.
