Solo motorcycle incident injures at least one person on US 101 to I-680 connector in San Jose
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, May 1st 2018, at about 4:56 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a motorcycle accident that took place on the northbound US-101 and northbound Interstate 680 connector in the city of San Jose.
Initially, officials reported that the accident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle, but police reports later changed the accident type from a traffic collision to a solo motorcycle spin-out. Police reports stated that both the rider and the motorcycle was downed close to the center divider and #1 lane.
The first lane of traffic was blocked as a result of the accident and a tow truck was called in by authorities to clear the scene.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.
