Motorcycle-involved accident results in injuries in Culver City
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, May 1st 2018, at about 1:39 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway and Jefferson Boulevard on-ramp in the city of Culver City.
In addition, the report stated that the rider of the motorcycle was driving recklessly prior to the accident and doing wheelies. Moreover, the report identified the rider of the motorcycle as a male adult of apparent African American descent, as stated by officials.
Furthermore, the slow lane of the on-ramp from Jefferson Blvd was blocked off as authorities worked to clear the accident, as stated by the incident log from California Highway Patrol.
The rider of the motorcycle suffered a broken leg as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport injured parties to the nearby UCLA Medical Center. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
