Car accident injured at least one person on the 215 Freeway north of Martin Luther King Blvd in Riverside
As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, April 2nd 2018, at about 7:15 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 215, just north of Martin Luther King Boulevard in the city of Riverside.
Moreover, authorities stated that a white hatchback sedan and a white BMW sedan were traveling southbound on I-215 when the accident occurred. The collision caused the airbags in both vehicles to go off and left one of the parties involved bleeding, according to officials.
Additionally, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
