Car collision on 7290 El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego critically injures one male

As mentioned in the news report, an elderly woman was driving her red vehicle westbound on El Cajon Boulevard when she attempted to make a left-hand turn onto northbound 73rd street when she hit a male driver who was also driving westbound on El Cajon Boulevard, Authorities reported.
In addition, the male driver spun out of control and hit an MTS bus that was on its daily route of picking up and dropping off passengers, stated the report. Furthermore, none of the passengers of the MTS bus were injured, mentioned the article.
Moreover, witnesses of the incident helped the injured driver out of the car, mentioned the officials. Also, the man was transported to a local hospital in critical conditions, report stated.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
